ABOUT THE FLEMISH LANGUAGE

Flemish language is a Low Franconian dialect cluster of the Dutch language. It is sometimes referred to as Flemish DutchBelgian Dutch (Belgisch-Nederlands, or Southern Dutch (Zuid-Nederlands). Flemish is native to Flanders, a historical region in northern Belgium; it is spoken by Flemings, the dominant ethnic group of the region. Outside of Flanders, it is also spoken to some extent in French Flanders and the Dutch Zeelandic Flanders.

ABOUT THE 'I AM' PROJECT

I AM is a project created by the Free Spirit FoundationThrough the ‘I AM’ project, we amplify the voice of nature in all the world languages. We also preserve the endangered languages and cultures by revealing their beauty. People across the globe translate, read and record the same message (the voice of nature : the forest, the ocean, the earth, the sky and the animals) in their native dialect.

ABOUT THE FLEMISH VOICE

The flemish beautiful voice is Louise’s voice, a 15 years old girl. Thank you Louise for joining this beautiful project and being the voice of the flemish language.
